Ready! The launch of the book Dialogue with Mom – Religion – Esotericism – Quantum Physics took place at Dalles Hall. A book written together with my mother, Mihaela Profiriu Mateescu.
There were a lot of people present: friends, relatives, acquaintances and people I saw for the first time. At the end of the presentation, the audience learned that the date of November 23 was not chosen by chance; it is both my and my mother’s birthday. We received many smiles, positive energy and a ‘Happy Birthday’ sung by dozens of souls. A real celebration!

For those who could not be present, I would like to open a figurative parenthesis and explain the meaning of the title Dialogue with My Mother and, especially, of the subtitle Religion – Esotericism – Quantum Physics.
About the subtitle:
Over 7,000 languages are spoken around the world. However, whatever the form of the words, their meaning remains similar. For example, if I say “Eu mănânc” in Romanian, an English person would say “I eat”, a Chinese person would say “我吃饭 (wǒ chī fàn)” and an Italian person would say “Io mangio”. We may not understand all these languages, but the essence is the same.
Similarly, there is a parallel between religion, esotericism and quantum physics. Although their languages differ, they often express similar or even identical ideas. Of course, not in all respects, but there are many commonalities.
A relevant example is the relationship between faith and healing:
- In religion, faith is considered essential for healing. In Christianity, for example, Jesus told the healed: “Your faith has healed you”. Faith is seen as a channel through which divine grace acts on the person, bringing health and blessing.
- In esotericism, faith healing is linked to the power of mind and intention. It is believed that the mind can influence physical reality, and a strong belief in healing can manifest this change in the body. Furthermore, there is a connection between individual and universal consciousness, between subtle bodies and cosmic energy fields.
- In quantum physics, the concept of ‘observer effect’ suggests that simply observing a subatomic particle can change its state. Although it’s a big leap from subatomic particles to cells and tissues, research suggests that there is an interdependence between consciousness and the matter from which we are formed. Leading Nobel Prize-winning researchers have concluded that the observer can influence matter. In fact, our consciousness can heal us.
All these fields point to a deep connection between faith and healing, each approaching it from a different perspective, using different language.
Why Dialogue with Mom?
The book grew out of dialogs my mom and I have when we go shopping. These discussions are, in fact, pretexts for exploring topics such as religion, esotericism and quantum physics.
In the book you’ll find topics ranging from cosmology, light and time, to thoughts, egregor and vibrations, as well as from destiny, karma and dharma to paranormal phenomena, health, the conscious and subconscious. Also covered are chakras, mudras, meridians, nadis and more.
Mina Bauer, who was kind enough to moderate the book launch, said beautifully:
